Something else that can help when a person is feeling down is sunshine. Getting out in the sun and the fresh air can do wonders to lift a person’s spirits. Go for a walk, or a jog. Go someplace with a scenic view that brings feelings of wonder and awe. Enjoy the beauty of nature! Feeling sunshine on our skin and enjoying the beauty of nature can really help pull a person out of a slump. I don’t know how many times I have felt down, gone for a job out in the countryside, and return home revived and feeling hopeful, ready to face the challenges of the day. It puts me in a much better frame of mind to deal with what I have to deal with.
